Hi. SSSSSHHHHHHHHH… guess what? All three kids are napping in the bedroom. WHAT?! I know. I KNOW. That hasn’t happened in, well, a really REALLY long time. So, armed with my traditional midday crutch of strong tea and a small stack of cookies, I’ll take a moment to say hello and update this post which is now Neolithic history. Stick around for a little family update. 🙂
Hello! I’m Evelyn and this is my handsome husband, who I call “Caveman”. He is grace to me every day and makes life so much fun. I call him Caveman because he doesn’t eat many vegetables or fruit; he really is a simple meat-n-potatoes kinda guy. And he is wonderful.
Together we have three beautiful children. Our oldest is “Red.” He is sharp and caring and curious.
This is our “Wolfpup.” He is sweet and insightful and athletic.
Our baby is “Little Lady.” She is darling and determined and delightful.
We love to be outdoors and spend much of our time pittering on the patio like this:
And like this:
And that’s us right now. Life is a glittering tornado of joy and exhaustion. A whirlwind of diapers and playing cars and library trips and dishes and setting mouse traps and dishes again and snuggles on the bed and reading the same book over and over, and we are so grateful.
We are thankful for our good health. We are thankful for our cozy home. We are thankful for an amazing community of friends and family. We are thankful for this beautiful season. We are thankful for God’s provision, leading, salvation. All to Him!
